Extracts from the TODAY papers 28/03/2006 comments by Vincent Chia

"No one can go on working for long hours forever. Work quality and personal well-being suffers without a balance of work and life outside work."

" It is important to recognise that workers who work late regularly really have little capacity for more responsibility. So there is no point promoting these workers. Instead, bosses should promote those who work smart and thus have the spare capacity to take on more responsibility."

"I saw many people at their deathbed and I never heard one of them say they wish they had spend more time at the office."

How True!!! Especially for teachers who are always running around doing admin, marking and lesson preparations etc.

Just for Laughs
From the TODAY papers 11/04/2006

"A Malaysian nearly fainted when he received a RM806trillion (S$350 trillion) phone bill and ordered to pay up within 10 days or face prosecution.

Mr Yahaya Wahab said he disconnected his late father's telephone line in January after he died and settled the RM84 (S$37) bill, the New Straits Times reported yesterday.

But Telekom Malaysia later sent him the S$350 trillion bill for recent telephone calls along with orders to settle the bill within 10 days or face legal action."

Today I decided to report sick, the cough is not going away since two weeks ago I saw the doctor and took two days 'MC' and last week due to the mad rush in school to get the exams papers ready and all the crap preparation for the "HONOUR'S DAY" (Must it be on a saturaday???!!!!!), I only got to see the doctor but din take any MC. Recently, I am developing a headache (Developing??? HMm... More like the headache is growing.) and not been sleeping well, ARGH!!! I am going thru a mid-life crisis!!!! and I am not "mid-life" yet.
